Competent Person Fall Protection EM 385
Our Competent Person Fall Protection EM 385 training course is designed for supervisors, safety personnel, and end users who work at height or who are responsible for overseeing fall protection activities. Through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on practical exercises, our course provides the knowledge and practical skills needed to identify fall hazards, implement effective control measures, and ensure the proper selection, use, and inspection of fall protection systems.
The program addresses regulatory requirements and industry best practices, including OSHA regulations, ANSI Z359 standards, and EM 385-1-1 fall protection requirements. Topics include fall protection planning, system selection and use, clearance calculations, equipment inspections, and emergency and rescue considerations.
This course meets the requirements of the ANSI/ASSP Z359.2 standard, EM 385 1-1 and is delivered in accordance with ANSI/ASSE Z490 training standards.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive a certification card.
